Under occasional supervision, supervises, plans and coordinates the functions of the Laboratory, following applicable laws, regulations, policies, procedures and standards of quality and safety. Maintains laboratory equipment and systems. Reporting major activities through occasional meetings. Performs related technical work as required. Reports to the Filter Plant Superintendent.
Minimum Training and Experience
Requires high school diploma or GED equivalent supplemented by formal training, specialized advanced training in water filtration plant operations, plus two years of experience in plant operations, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities. Must possess Class "C" Water Treatment Operator Certification. Must possess a valid state driver's license.
